I know I talked about how much I love overnight oats before, but here me out: Chocolate. Overnight. Oats. And I can’t stress this enough, they require zero effort and they’re a delicious make-ahead breakfast to save you time the next morning. You can have them at home or even take them to work, just use a mason jar instead of a bowl and there you have it.
Tips and tricks for the Chocolate Overnight Oats:
-Depending on how you like your oats, chose between rolled and steel-cut. Rolled oats will give you a smoother, silkier result, while steel-cut will make a chewy, hearty texture.
-Add some chia seeds to your mix. A tablespoon of seeds will give your oats an even more nutritious value and a nicer texture.
-The secret to a creamier mix lies in the Greek yogurt. A third of a cup is enough for two portions.
-I used fine rolled oats and almond milk for my recipe.
